Chatbot ROI Calculator: Are AI Chatters Worth It?
Price the chatbots and AI messages bundled in a viewer plan against buying viewers and chat separately.
A 30-day plan with 20 viewers, 15 chatbots, 200 AI messages, 700 followers and 30 raids over 60 streamed hours is worth about $75 at typical 2026 add-on rates, so a $47 bundle beats buying viewers, chat and extras separately. Chat alone (chatters plus AI messages) is worth about $28 of that. Change the rates to your own quotes below.

Market rates are editorial assumptions for a like-for-like bill: $0.0053 per viewer-hour is a typical hourly panel list rate; chatter ($0.02 per chatter-hour), AI-message ($0.05), follower ($0.015, about $1.50 per 100) and raid ($1) values are mid-range add-on prices we see on panels in 2026. Why chat matters more than the viewer number
A stream with 20 viewers and a silent chat looks less alive than one with 12 viewers and steady conversation. Chatters and AI messages make new arrivals stay, which is why the leading packages bundle them. Keep the ratio natural: chatters at roughly 15-50% of the viewer count and a message every few minutes.
Rates used: viewers-only $0.0053 per viewer-hour (a typical hourly panel list price), chatters $0.02 per chatter-hour, AI messages $0.05 each, followers $0.015 each and raids $1 each. These are editorial mid-range assumptions, not any vendor’s price list.
Where chatbots are bundled
Chatters and AI messages are cheapest when they come inside a viewer plan rather than as add-ons. Our independent #1 pick, Raidpop (raidpop.com), bundles chatbots and AI messages on Twitch and Kick; FollowersPanda (#2) does the same on weekly and monthly plans. Compare them on Twitch chatbots and Kick chatbots.
Frequently asked questions
What is a good chatter-to-viewer ratio?+
Real channels usually have a minority of viewers chatting. We suggest 15-50% of the viewer count; more chatters than viewers looks unnatural.
Are AI chat messages better than scripted ones?+
AI messages react to context, so they read more naturally than fixed lines. Keep the volume moderate.
Does this work for Kick chatbots?+
Yes. Kick and Twitch chat packages are priced the same way, so the maths carries over.
